Essaouira must be Morocco’s windiest city with winds ranging from 25-35 knots just about every day in summer and 20-30 knots in the winter with waves. Essaouira bay is a huge sandy beach. No shore break and the wind is side-shore from the right. Upwind you have flat water conditions, in the middle of the bay, choppy ‘bump-n-jump’ stuff and downwind (in the curve of the bay) wave riding conditions.

All guests stay in one of our handpicked traditional Riads  located either in the ancient walled medina or the bay area. Our Kitesurf Rental Holidays offer great value for money and ideal for single travellers, couples and young friends who want to freeride and also enjoy the cosmopolitan and cultural side of things.

The kitesurf centre is located on the opposite side of the bay to the Medina in the zoned watersports area and offers a range of facilities and services for experienced kitesurfers. The centre offers a wide range of kitesurfing equipment to rent by the leading kitesurf brand North that will suit the needs of most kitesurfers. Boards and kites are available in various shapes and sizes and can be changed to suit your ability and the local wind and riding conditions (subject to availability). For your peace of mind there is a rescue service operated by the centre during normal hours. Recommended season for max wind May-August.

Please note that this rental package is for kitesurfers who have completed IKO level 3 and consider themselves to be self sufficient kitesurfers.
