LEARN TO SURF OR IMPROVE YOUR SURFING IN FUERTEVENTURA SOUTH

Morro Jable is an small fishing village located next to the resort of Jandia in the South of Fuerteventura. It still retains some of it’s original charm and character especially in the old part of town where tapas bars and seafood restaurants line the sea front. The protected beaches on the Jandia peninsular rival some of the Caribbeans finest.

All guests stay in our hanpicked studios on a small friendly tourist complex located on the hillside overlooking the old town and ocean. The studios are great value for money and ideal for Single Travellers, Couples and Friends. We also have some more spacious apartments that will suit groups of friends or families.

The Jandia coastline is relatively unkown outside local surfing circles, although recently it has gained more exposure in the international surf magazines. The Jandia peninsular offers a variety of beach breaks and the warm climate and manageable surf size make it a great all year round surf destination for beginners and improvers. Autumn, Winter and Spring are good times to visit to catch the bigger groundswells.

After a hard days surf everybody gets together at a local tapas bar/restaurant to refuel and as the sun sets you can head into the resort of Jandia to sample the laid back Canarian nightlife!

Surf School & Surf Lessons

The Surf Instructors are generally qualified via the British Surfing Association (or equivalent) and have SLSA Lifesaving Awards. They have all the necessary skills and patience to help you progress in a safe but fun enviroment at your own pace. The coaching is specifically aimed at those who have never surfed before or those who have already taken some some lessons but feel they need to improve further. Surfing is progressive and there is always something new to be experienced and learnt!

For safety reasons and to ensure you get the attention you need on dry land and in the water, the Surf Lessons have a low student to instructor ratio. All students are placed with an instructor who specialize in teaching at a particular level.

Every day the school will select the best surf spot according to your surf level and the local surf and wind conditions.
