KWAZULU-NATAL (ZULULAND) SURFARI
The KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa is the perfect destination for surfers looking for warm water and uncrowded surf spots. This coast has so many empty peaks that you'd need a year to surf them all. Luckily your surf guides will narrow it down for you ;-). But there is more to enjoy besides the surf - This is your chance to go on a true African Game Safari, your chance to see some of Africa's biggest wildlife in their natural surroundings. Accommodation varies from beachfront hotels to game huts and a full time videographer will be there to document your African adventure and present you with a DVD of your trip to take home.
Who's it for?
This is an an adventure trip with something for everyone and we have had plenty of couples, honeymooners and families on our trips. Non-surfing partners and kids especially love this trip because there are so many activities they can enjoy. The game parks & animals are always a huge hit and swimming with the dolphins or whale sharks, fine dining, lively bars, huge shopping malls, local shopping markets, the wavehouse, the flow-rider skate park (designed by Tony Hawk), cultural activities etc...
The surfing is always the main focus of the trip and we offer learn-2-surf options for beginners and personal guided surfaris for experienced surfers. We are proud to have been the hosts for the crews from Electric, ASW Magazine, Surfing Magazine, Quiksilver and more...
